Simply follow the steps below.
Start -> Run and type "regedit"
Locate for "HKEY_CURRENT_USER / Software / Microsoft / Office" and delete the folder "14" (Denotes the version of Office 2010)
And
Just delete that entire folder ("Groove"). The names may be slightly different, like "AppData."
C:\Documents and Settings\<windows user>\Local Settings\Application
Data\Microsoft\OFFICE\Groove
Note: The folder "Local Settings" may hidden you should enable the hidden folder view to find the above folder. Restart not required

ReplyDeletethnx, works perfect!
ReplyDeleteSince I just wanted to downgrade the "Groove" product and not my entire Office 2010 suite, I performed the following:
ReplyDelete**PLEASE NOTE: These changes will clear all of your previous Groove Data on your local machine**
1. Start > Run > Regedit
2. As noted above, navigate to: "HKEY_CURRENT_USER / Software / Microsoft / Office"
3. Under 14.0 remove "Groove" (**Always be sure to backup your registry before making changes**)
4. Run the "GrooveClean" utility
a. Start > Run > CMD
b. cd C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Office\Office12\
c. grooveclean -all
5. Open Groove and your initial config settings should start from scratch.
